Women's Track and Field Competes in Warrior Opener

The Tiffin University women's track and field team competed in the Warrior Opener hosted by Indiana Tech.

Brook Boes took sixth in the discus with a throw of 46.30 meters, hitting an NCAA DII Provisional mark, and was fourth in the shot put with a throw of 14.02, also hitting an NCAA DII Provisional mark.

Rajiah Andrews took first place in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.90, hitting another NCAA DII Provisional mark.

Amirah Strauther finished third in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.66.

The 4 x 100 relay team came in fourth with a time of 47.80.

DeChanelle Goins was fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 10.87 meters.

Brittany Devall had a hammer throw of 45.51 meters that landed her in ninth.

Jazilee Williams came in eighth in the long jump with a mark of 5.32 meters.
