Four Tiffin University women's indoor track and field athletes landed spots at the NCAA Division II Indoor National Championships being held in Pittsburg, Kansas March 11-12.

Ines Macadam became the first indoor distance runner to qualify for the NCAA National Championships, landing a spot in the 800 meters with a time of 2:10.66.

Also making the trip on the track side is Rajiah Andrews, who qualified in the 60 meter dash with a mark of 7.55.

In the field events, two high jumpers made the cut. Marisa Gwinner (1.77 meters) and Mercedeez Francis (1.74) both landed spots.

This marks Andrews' third straight indoor appearance, as she has been an All American in each of the last two seasons. She landed All American honors in the 60 meters in 2020 and also was an All American in the 60 hurdles in each of the last two years.

Gwinner is also not a stranger to the indoor national championship experience, as this is her fourth straight qualifying mark in the high jump. She is a three-time First Team All American, finishing as high as third twice in that span.

This is Francis's third indoor appearance in the high jump, as she took second in the event last season. She is a two-time First Team All American in the event.
