Marisa Gwinner has been named CoSIDA Second Team Academic All American.

Gwinner was the top finisher for the Dragons at the NCAA Outdoor National Championships, as the defending 2019 high jump champion took second despite topping her own school record with a leap of 1.79 meters (5-foot, 10.5 inches). Gwinner's honor gives her five All American honors in her career.

The 2020-21 Academic All-American Women's Track and Field/Cross Country Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. Gwinner was one of three GMAC women's track and field athletes to earn All American status.
