Rajiah Andrews was named GMAC Outdoor Co-Track Athlete of the Year, as the conference announced the annual awards as selected by vote of the GMAC coaches.

Andrews was GMAC outdoor champion in the 100 hurdles and part of the first-place 4x100 relay team, while also taking third in the 100 meters and 5th in the 200. It marks yet another honor for Andrews, who landed First Team All American honors in the 100 meters final at the NCAA National Championships, coming in fourth with a time of 11.98. Andrews has earned three All American honors in her career, with the 100 meter final being her first outdoor citation.

This also marks the second consecutive championship in the GMAC in both the 100 hurdles and the 4x100 relay. She won both events in 2019 while the events were not held in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Other TU champions honored as First Team athletes included Marisa Gwinner (high jump), Ti'Uana Louissaint, Nakyah Kennedy, and Sidney Richardson (4x100 relay).

Second Team honorees included Ines Macadam (800), Amirah Strauther (100 hurdles), Mercedeez Francis (high jump), Nicole Berry (shot put), and Jazilee Williams (heptathlon).

Landing on the Third Team was Christina Znidarsic (hammer throw).
