Women’s Track and Field Emerge Victorious At Flames Invitational

The Tiffin University women's track and field team won the inaugural Flames Invitational with 132 points after 21 events in a field of 23 schools. 

Jazilee Williams took first place in the long jump with a mark of 5.72 meters.

The quartet of Ti'Uana Louissaint, Nakyah Kennedy, Sidney Richardson, and Rajiah Andrews placed first in the 4 x 100 relay with a time of 47.33.

The duo of Rajiah Andrews and Jazilee Williams placed second and third in the 100 hurdles with times of 14.74 and 14.75.

Ines Macadam came in sixth in the 800-meter race with a time of 2:17.17 

Rajiah Andrews finished fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.12 and seventh in the 200-meter race with a time of 24.92.

The 4 x 400 relay composed of Andrews, Williams, Macadam, and Richardson came in sixth with a time of 4:33.99.

Up next the Dragons will host the Tiffin University Outdoor Invitational on Saturday, April 17.
