Nicole Berry has been named GMAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week.

Berry was coming off of All-American indoor honors in the shot put before carrying over that excellence right into the outdoor season. The junior was competing at the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Invitational hosted by Cedarville.
 
Berry won the shot put competition with a distance of 14.82m (48' 7.5") on her fifth attempt.
 
It was a provisional distance for nationals qualification and also ranked No. 8 all-time in conference history.
 
Berry also ranks third currently in Division II in the performance list among 11 student-athletes with provisional marks in shot put.
