The Tiffin University women's track and field squad are in second place with 44 points after day one of the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge.

Alaura Holycross took first place in the Hammer throw with a throw of 49.07m, Christina Znidarsic finished third with a throw of 41.92m, and Ava Myers placed fourth with a throw of 40.55m. 

Olivia Ward and Lily Hollibaugh came fifth and sixth in the pole vault with vaults of 2.90m each.

The quartet of Brown, Jefferson, Richardson, and Kennedy placed third in the 4x200m relay with a time of 1:45.08.
