Jazilee Williams earned Second Team All American honors on Day 1 of the NCAA National Indoor Track and Field Championships in Birmingham, Alabama.

Williams competed in the pentathlon and finished 9th overall with 3657 points. Her point total eclipsed the 3630 mark that qualified her the championships. She was the lone competitor for the Dragons on the first day of the competition.

Williams, who is also competing in the long jump, will be joined by Marisa Gwinner, Mercedeez Francis, Rajiah Andrews, Nicole Berry, and Madeline Hayes over the next two days as the competition continues.
