Women's track squad ranked 13th in latest polls

The USTFCCCA has released the latest Rating Index for Division II Women's Indoor Track & Field, where the Tiffin women have moved up to the No. 13 spot. 

Grand Valley State sits in first followed by Minnesota State, Central Missouri, Southwest Baptist, and West Texas A&M. Two other GMAC schools finished in the top 25 with Hillsdale coming in at No. 10 followed by Findlay landing in the No. 20 spot. 

The Dragons have showed strong performances so far this season in the field events with Marisa Gwinner leading the way for Tiffin, posting 1.77m in the high jump to lead the nation across DII along with Mercedeez Francis who ranks No. 6 in the nation.

Madeline Hayes ranks 2nd in the pole vault with a mark of 4.00 meters, Jazilee Williams is also in the top 20 with a mark of 16th in the long jump.

Nicole Berry comes in at No. 23 in the shot put. 

The next competition for the women is this weekend as they host the Tiffin Dragon Invitational on Feb. 6 in the Heminger Center.
