The Tiffin Women's Track & Field squad competed in Grand Valley State University's Bill Clinger Classic.

Marisa Gwinner and Sidney Richardson led the way for the Dragons, taking first place in the high jump and 60 meter dash. 

Field Events

• Marisa Gwinner took first place in the high jump with a provisional leap of 1.67 meters followed by Mercedeez Francis who came in second with a jump of 1.62 meters.
• Madeline Hayes came in fourth in the Pole vault with a vault of 4.0 meters, another provisional effort.
• Christina Znidarsic finished fifth in the shot put with a throw of 12.16 meters.

Distance Races

• Ines Macadam placed third in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:19.44.

Sprint Races

• The Dragons fared well in the 60 meter dash as five placed in the top ten, with Sidney Richardson coming in first with a time of 7.98, followed by Ti'Uana Louissaint with a time of 8.04. Lily Hollibaugh finished fourth with a time of 8.34, teammate Latayja Jefferson placed sixth in the race with a time of 8.41 followed by Deona Davis in seventh with a time of 8.76.
• Richardson finished fourth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 26.73.

Up next the Dragons head home for their Dragon Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 6.
