Lady Dragons Ranked No. 14 in the USTFCCCA Ratings

The USTFCCCA has released the Week One Rating Index for Division II Women's Indoor Track & Field, where the Tiffin women have earned the No. 14 spot. 

Grand Valley State sits in first followed by Central Missouri, Minnesota State, UC-Colorado and Lee (Tenn.) to round out the top five. Two other GMAC schools finished in the top 25 with Hillsdale coming in at No. 16 followed by Findlay landing in the No. 21 spot. 

The Dragons have showed strong performances so far this season in the field events with Marisa Gwinner leading the way for Tiffin, posting 1.77m in the high jump to lead the nation across DII along with Mercedeez Francis who ranks No. 5 in the nation.

Madeline Hayes ranks 10th in the pole vault and teammate Nicole Berry comes in at No. 15 in the shot put. 

Amirah Strauther ranked 18th in the 60m hurdles as Jazilee Williams shows her diversity coming in at No. 10 in the long jump and No. 21 in the 60m hurdles. 

The next competition for the women is this weekend as they head to Grand Valley State in the Bill Clinger Classic.
