Kirsten Camp has been named First Team Google Cloud Academic All District IV.
The 2018-19 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Women's Track/Cross Country Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. The Google Cloud Academic All-America® program separately recognizes outstanding student-athletes in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in June.
Camp, a senior Exercise Science major from Attica, Ohio, was one of only five athletes on the list with a GPA of 3.90 or higher. She was the only G-MAC women's track and field athlete on the list.
Camp was also previously selected as a USTFCCCA All Midwest Region pick in the heptathlon, in which she finished second at the G-MAC Outdoor Championships. She was also the G-MAC Indoor Champion in the pentathlon. She was twice named G-MAC Field Athlete of the Week this season.
