Lepinay wins draw at Fairmont State Hidden Duals

Tiffin University's women's tennis team had one champion and two runners-up at the Fairmont State Hidden Duals.

Anaelle Lepinay won her second tournament of the fall season, winning the A draw with 6-4, 7-6 and 6-2, 6-1 singles victories. She also previously won the ITA Midwest Regional Championship in the B draw.

Sarah Roy competed in the B draw and finished runner-up. She won singles matches by 6-4, 6-1 and 6-3, 6-1 margins, then fell in the final 6-3, 2-6, 10-4.

Celine Ferron also took second in the C draw. She won her matches 6-2, 4-6, 10-1 and 6-3, 6-4 before falling 6-4, 6-1.

Emily Barrett posted a 6-0, 7-5 win in the B division before falling 6-3, 7-6. Jemimah Choi fell in a tough battle 6-4, 5-7, 11-9 in the C division, while Maeva Maxch also lost a tough one in the A division 1-6, 7-5, 10-8.

In doubles play, Lepinay/Roy split their matches, winning 6-1 and falling 7-6 (7-5), while Choi/Ferron did the same, posting a 6-2 win and losing 6-4.
