Tiffin University (4-1) picked up a 7-0 win over Lawrence Tech while falling in a narrow battle to Indiana (Pa.) 5-2.

The Dragons dominated play against Lawrence Tech. In doubles play, Carina Avram/Anaelle Lepinay and Emily Barrett/Shea Foster both won by 6-1 margins to give TU the first point. Aashi Kapoor/Celine Ferron fell in their match 6-2.

TU won all the singles matches in straight sets. Lepinay won 6-3, 6-1, Barrett raced to a 6-1, 6-0 victory, and Avram won 6-1, 6-2. Ferron cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 win, Sharanya Shetty picked up a 6-2, 6-3 win, and Foster closed it out with a 6-1, 6-2 win.

Against IUP, the Dragons opened with three straight doubles losses. Avram/Lepinay fell 6-4, Barrett/Foster lost 6-3, and Jessica Peace/Shetty lost 6-4.

Four of the singles losses were three-set affairs. Lepinay fell 6-2, 6-7 (12-14), 6-1, while Barrett also lost a tough one 6-2, 3-6, 6-4. Avram lost by an identical 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 margin, while Shetty ultimately fell 6-1, 1-6, 6-1.

TU's two victories came from Peace 6-2, 6-3, and Ferron 6-1, 7-6 (7-2).
