Tiffin University was ranked 6th in the Midwest Region in the final ITA regional rankings released June 2.

TU (20-5) was the highest ranked GMAC school ahead of Findlay (7th).

Emily Barrett was also ranked 18th in the singles rankings. She finished 18-7 overall in singles play, leading the team with 8 wins at first singles. Only Walsh's Risako Umekuni (16th) was ranked higher amongst GMAC singles players.

Tiffin University was also ranked 41st in the country in the latest ITA national poll.

The Dragons, coming off their GMAC Tournament Championship, previously earned selection to the NCAA Midwest Regional, entering as the fourth-seed before falling to Wayne State.

This marks the fifth time overall that the women's tennis program has reached Midwest Regional competition. They qualified for four consecutive years from 2014 to 2017.

TU reached a peak of 34th in the nation earlier this season. They also won the regular season and tournament championships in the GMAC.
