Tiffin University's women's tennis claimed the GMAC Championship over Findlay.

Tiffin University (21-4) earned its first-ever GMAC Tournament Championship, dispatching Findlay 4-2 in Owensboro, Kentucky.

The title is also Tiffin's first tournament championship at the Division II level as it continues one of its strongest seasons ever. The victory tied the school single season record of 21 wins, last reached in 2015-16 (21-7). It also sets a new standard with the highest win percentage in season history (,840).

The win was also twice as nice as it came immediately following the TU men's tennis team also winning the conference championship 4-3 over Findlay.

TU had to come back to get the victory as Findlay got the doubles point with two wins. Tiffin opened with a win as Emily Young/Emily Barrett beat Elina Ivanova/Mady Arquette 6-4. The Oilers tied it when Zuzanna Krygier/Emily Hadler edged Carina Avram/Sharanya Shetty 6-4. The Oilers got the doubles point in a thriller, beating Alessandra Maganuco/Anaelle Lepinay 7-5.

In singles it was just as close. Jessica Peace got TU a point with a win over Laura Brito 6-4, 6-4, while Lepinay put TU ahead 2-1 with a close win over Krygier 7-5, 6-4. Findlay tied it at 2-2 when Ivanova blew past Avram 6-2, 6-2.

Emily Barrett put TU back on top to stay with a hard fought win over Laiying Alvarado 6-4, 6-4, while Maganuco finished off the Oilers with a three-set battle 1-6, 7-5, 6-1 over Emily Hadler.
