TU lands 5 All GMAC picks, Conley named Coach of Year

The GMAC regular-season champion Tiffin University Dragons landed 5 All GMAC selections along with Coach of the Year Phil Conley.

Abbie-Jade Riley and Anais Geslin were First Team picks, while Emily Sim, Juliette Sirgant, and Allesandra Maganuco were Second Team selections.

Riley went 12-3 at 1st singles and 10-1 at 3rd doubles to lead the Dragons. She has posted 30 career singles victories playing 1-3 in the lineup along with 17 3rd doubles wins.

Geslin was also excellent, going 11-2 at 2nd singles and 8-4 at 1st doubles. 

Emily Sim went 11-3 playing all over the singles bracket, and also posted an 8-4 record primarily at 2nd doubles. Overall she has 51 singles wins (playing 1-3), good for 4th in TU's career wins record book. She also has 33 wins at 2nd doubles (3rd all time).

Sirgant went 13-2 in singles play playing at numerous positions and also went 8-4 playing mostly 2nd doubles. She also has 30 singles wins (4-6) and 21 wins at 2nd doubles (4th all time).

Maganuco went 8-7 playing at numerous singles spots as well as 8-4 at 1st doubles.

Conley had another banner year, earning his 6th Coach of the Year honor, 4th with the women's program. He was previously named 2019 Men's GMAC Coach of the Year, 2017 Men's and Women's GLIAC Coach of the Year as well as Wilson/ITA Women's Coach of the Year, and 2013 Women's GLIAC Coach of the Year.

Conley has led the Dragons to four NCAA Regional appearances during his career (2013-17). He is in his 12th season and has a 152-77 women's record (.664) over the last 10 seasons, 65-32 (.670) in conference play. Overall as women's coach he has a 156-119 record (.567). As a men's coach he has a 142-142 record (.500), 48-45 in conference play. He has the most wins of any tennis coach in TU history, winning a combined 298 games as both men's and women's coach (298-261 overall).
