Juliette Sirgant has been named GMAC Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week.

Tiffin's women defeated Walsh 4-3 on Saturday.

Previous winners of conference weekly honors, Tiffin's Abbie-Jade Riley and Anais Geslin won at No. 1 and 2 doubles, while this week's Athlete of the Week recipient Juliette Sirgant, won at No. 5 doubles. Sirgant defeated Walsh's Isabella Sanchez (7-5, 6-2) to clinch the win for the Dragons. Tiffin also won at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. 

Tiffin women swept Ursuline earlier in the week, 7-0. Sirgant played No. 3 singles, easily defeating Ursuline's Makaila Williford (6-0, 6-0). 

Sirgant is 11-2 in all singles matches this season, typically playing at No. 3, 4 or 5. 

The Dragons gear up for three more conference matches before heading to Owensboro for the conference championship at the end of the month. Tiffin women are currently first in the conference standings at 3-0.
