Tiffin University (9-2) continued its hot streak of late, upending the regionally-ranked Findlay Oilers 4-2 for their fifth straight win.

The Oilers (ranked 10th in the Midwest Region and preseason favorite in the GMAC) dropped all three doubles matches to open the day, with TU winning three close matches.

Anais Geslin/Alessandra Maganuco and Abbie-Jade Riley/Shea Foster both won by 7-6 (7-4) scores, while Emily Sim/Juliette Sirgant also won a tight 6-4 decision.

Needing three more points for the victory, Geslin pulled out the toughest singles match with a 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 victory, while Sim (6-3, 6-4) and Sirgant (6-1, 6-2) both won in straight sets.

Maganuco fell in a tough three setter 3-6, 6-4, 6-4, while Riley fell 6-4, 7-5.
