LEXINGTON, Ohio - Tiffin women's tennis started 2020 off with a bang as they won all nine matches in a 7-0 victory over Notre Dame College in their first competition of the spring season on Friday night.
It was smooth sailing from the beginning for the Dragons, as Anais Geslin and Emily Sim earned a 6-3 victory and the duos of Courtney Fyvie/Abbie-Jade Riley and Shea Foster/Jacqueline Kamps only dropped one game between them to sweep the doubles pairings.
In singles, the toughest match of the night came at the No. 1 spot, where Riley was taken to a third set by Notre Dame's Herrera but was still able to pull out a 6-2, 5-7, 10-2 victory.
None of the other matches were close, with Tiffin not dropping more than two games in any set in the other five wins.
The spring season continues this Sunday when TU travels to Davenport for an 8:00 a.m. start.
