Tiffin University (11-8, ranked 6th regionally) could not overcome the injury bug, falling to regional power Palm Beach Atlantic (10th regionally) 7-2.

The Dragons fell behind 3-0 after doubles play, with the closest match coming from Abbie-Jade Riley/Milah Ryland in an 8-6 setback. Anais Geslin/Juliette Sirgant dropped an 8-0 decision, while Lauren Prince/Cassandra Weidner fell 8-1.

Riley got a nice victory at first singles for one of Tiffin's points, winning 6-1, 6-0. Geslin got the other one with a 6-3, 6-0 win at third singles. Sirgant fell in a razor thin match 6-7, 6-4, 10-4, while Prince also came up just short 6-3, 7-6. Ryland and Weidner both fell in straight set matches.
