Dragons shutout Lawrence Tech 9-0

Tiffin University's Women's Tennis team improves to 2-0 on the season with another dominating performance in non-conference play, beating Lawrence Tech 9-0.

The Dragons doubles play started off strong until a lightning delay pushed them into the Heminger Center where they continued their dominance on the court.

1st Doubles got back on track with an 8-2 victory. Nelhage and Kaye resumed their winning ways from last season and looked to be back in mid season form. 2nd doubles was the 2nd match together for Sims and Musina, and the pair did a complete 180° from their previous match taking a strong 8-2 victory. The 3rd doubles team of Brozovich and Avram continued their strong play with an 8-0 victory over Alvarez and Burgess of Lawrence Tech.

Singles was continued dominance for TU as several matches were won in convincing fashion. 8 of the 12 sets for the Dragons were 6-0 with Nelhage and Sim winning both sets via the goose egg. 1st singles saw Nelhage win 6-0, 6-0 closely followed by Musina at 2nd singles winning 6-1, 6-0. 3rd singles was freshman Emily Sim winning convincingly 6-0, 6-0 while Avram struggled out of the gate, but found her game late to win 6-3, 6-0 at 4th singles. 5th singles saw Aimee Kaye win 6-1, 6-0 and getting her first win of the season was Andrea Alaniz at 6th singles winning 6-2, 6-0.
