Tiffin University's women's swimming team has landed a team academic honor.

Findlay, Hillsdale and Tiffin, represented the Great Midwest Athletic Conference as The College Swimming And Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) revealed its Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2019 semester.
 
A record number of 762 programs from 480 institutions were reported by the CSCAA for Scholar All-America Team awards.
 
The teams were selected on the basis of their Fall grade point averages and represent 17,685 student-athletes.
 
In addition to Tiffin's women's program, both Findlay's men's and women's programs and Hillsdale's women's program also qualified amongst GMAC schools. 
 
Tiffin sported a 3.29 fall GPA.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.

Great Midwest Athletic Conference programs will be competing next week at the G-MAC/MEC Championships starting on Wednesday. The combined meet will be hosted by Malone again at the C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton, Ohio.
