Dragons Fall Short in Season-Finale

Tiffin University (3-9-5, 3-8-3 G-MAC) women's soccer battled hard defensively but ultimately came up just short in a narrow 1-0 defeat to Findlay in its final regular season match.

The Dragons were heavily outshot 14-1 in shots on goal for the match. Malea Nelson played an outstanding match in front of goal, tallying 13 saves. The mark sets her career-high for the second consecutive match after tallying 10 against Northwood.

Tiffin's only shot of the match came in the 34th minute through Kaelyn Harkness. She fired towards the top-right hand corner, but the Oilers goalie was there to make the save.

TU's defense stood strong until the 81st minute when Findlay would score a rebound off of a Nelson save to take a 1-0 lead.

The Dragons end the year with an overall record of 3-9-5 and 3-8-3 in conference play. They ended ninth place in the G-MAC, just four points shy of making the conference tournament.
