Dragons Shutout in 1-0 Defeat to Walsh

Tiffin University (1-3-3, 1-2-1 G-MAC) battled the Cavaliers of Walsh University on Saturday night and despite pressuring the goal all match long, was held scoreless in a 1-0 defeat for.

The Dragons had eight shots on target compared to the four of Walsh, however rather crucially, none were able to find the back of the net.

Tiffin had two opportunities early on to take the lead, first through Mikayla Talbot in the eighth minute followed by Kaelyn Harkness in the 10th minute, both of which were saved. The lone goal of the match was scored by the Cavaliers in the 13th minute.

Over the next eight minutes, the Dragons had two more shot attempts saved by the Walsh goalie.

In the second half, Tiffin mustered four more shots on target including back-to-back shots from Tatum Bradley in the 84th and 85th minutes of the match. With 30 seconds left on the clock, one final effort from Amanda Feury was again saved by the goalkeeper as the match ended in a 1-0 defeat.

The Dragons now must travel to Northwood for a matchup against the Timberwolves on Wednesday, September 27th at 1 p.m.
