Dragons Unable to Overcome Slow Start

The Dragons (1-2-3, 1-1-1 G-MAC) gave up two early goals against rival Findlay and were unable to find the back of the net in a shutout for the Oilers.

It took Findlay just 27 seconds to score the opening goal of the match. Just six minutes later, the Oilers doubled their lead. In total, Tiffin was outshot 8-2 in the first half and was outnumbered 6-0 in corners.

The Dragons defense bounced back in the second half, but they were still held to just three total shots. Only one of which was on goal, by way of Amanda Feury in the 47th minute.

Kaelyn Harkness, Autumn Schweitzer, Dani Garner, and Cerenity Adams all recorded one shot each. Malea Nelson played the first half of the match in net, recording two saves before Sam McPhee took over in the second half, tallying three saves.

Tiffin stays on the road as it now heads to Walsh University for a matchup on Saturday, September 23rd at 7:30 p.m.
