Women's Soccer Win Big against Regionally Ranked Northwood

Tiffin University's women's soccer team (8-8-2, 6-7-1 GMAC) had a huge 4-1 win against Northwood to keep their GMAC playoff hopes alive.

With the win, Tiffin women's soccer is .500 for the first time since the 2012 season.

After a hard-fought 30 minutes, the Dragons finally got on the board from two substitutes. Emma Siler got to the rebound first to put it in the back of the net off a free-kick shot from Ryan Kunkle.

After the break, TU wasted no time doubling their lead as Kristen Dickison scored in the 46th minute, a one-touch shot off a pass from Jordan Florence.

The Dragons kept the pressure on and scored in the 51st minute of play as Kaelynn Harkness scored off a beautiful through ball from Autumn Schweitzer that Kaelynn slotted into the back of the net to give TU a 3-0 lead.

Northwood scored a goal in the 71st minute to cut the lead down to 3-1. Tiffin countered as Natalie Morris hit a shot from outside the 18-yard box in the back of the net off a pass from Schweitzer to seal the win over the Timberwolves.

Andrea Parker recorded the win in the net, moving to a 7-5-1 record on the year. Parker recorded five saves through 90 minutes of play.
