Tiffin Ties Walsh in Thrilling 3-3 Game

The Tiffin University women's soccer team (3-3-2, 1-2-1 GMAC) tied Walsh 3-3, scoring two goals in the second half.

With a huge gust towards the south goal, Tiffin chose to go with the wind in the first half and early on had the right idea as they scored in the fourth minute of the game to lead 1-0. Sarah Gundler scored off a cross from Amanda Feury.

The Cavaliers scored two unanswered goals in the 19th minute to take a 2-1 lead.

In the second half, Walsh increased their lead by scoring in the 62nd minute to lead 3-1.

TU turned it around in the 74th minute as Kristen Dickison won a penalty kick that she converted to bring the game to 3-2.

The Dragons scored ten minutes later as Kristen Dickison won the ball off the keeper's foot and scored on an open net to tie the game at 3-3.

Walsh outshot Tiffin 23-10. However, the Dragons had more shots on goal, seven compared to the Cavaliers' six.

Malea Nelson got the tie and made three saves through 90 minutes.
