Kunkle's clutch goal helps tie Illinois-Springfield 2-2

The Tiffin University women's soccer team tied Illinois-Springfield 2-2 with a late goal from Ryan Kunkle.

Through the first 45 minutes, the Dragons held a 1-0 lead as lead goalscorer Kristen Dickison scored in the 10th minute.

In the second half, the Prairie Stars put on the pressure as they tied the game in the 60th minute, and one minute and 13 seconds later scored a second goal to take the lead at 2-1.

The Dragons never gave up and a great ball over the top of the defense put Ryan Kunkle one-on-one with the keeper to tie the game at 2-2 with under 2:30 to play.

Tiffin's three stars of the game were Ryan Kunkle, who tallied her first career goal for TU, Kristen Dickison registered one goal with two shots on target, and Tatum Bradley had an assist on the second goal to tie the game.

Andrea Parker earned the tie in goal, making 8 saves over 90 minutes.
