The Tiffin University women's soccer team upset conference rival Findlay 2-1 on Senior Day.

Before the start of today's contest, the women's soccer program honored its seven-member senior class that included: Isabel Barton, Maison Farr, Trinity Isom, Molly Miller, Kim Nagel, Kaylee Neura, and Marissa Nugent.

With the win, the Dragons improve to 5-9-1 overall and 5-7-1 in the GMAC, while the Oilers fall to 11-2-3 overall and 10-1-3 in the GMAC.

The Dragons came out on fire with a lot of energy and that allowed Kristen Dickison to score at the 4:00 mark, assisted by Tatum Bradley. Tiffin held a one-goal lead until the 25th minute when Mikayla Talbot scored her first goal of the year that was assisted by Kaelyn Harkness to double their advantage.

The Dragons ended the first half up 2-0, outshooting the Oilers 8-5 with four shots on net compared to Findlay's two, but the Oilers had the advantage in corner kicks 2-0.

The Dragons held strong in the second half, not allowing the Oilers to control the game. The Oilers' offense struggled to find the net until the 81st minute when Sam Francis was able to slot the ball into the net off a great cross by Olivia Frank to cut the Dragons' lead in half. Findlay put the pressure on in the last ten minutes but Molly Miller and the defense were able to hold strong and defeat the Oilers 2-1.

Molly Miller got the win in net, improving to a 4-4 record this season, recording five saves and allowing one goal against through 90 minutes of play.
