The Tiffin University women's soccer team beat conference opponent Ursuline 3-2.

The Dragons improve to 4-10-1 overall and 4-7-1 in the GMAC, while the Arrows fall to 5-9 overall and 4-8 in the GMAC.

Tiffin played a great first 45 minutes, getting a goal in the 24th minute of play off a shot by Kristen Dickison over the keeper's head that was set up nicely by freshman Selina Rau for the freshman's first collegiate point of her career.

The Dragons went into halftime up 1-0, even in shots 8-8, but the Dragons put five shots on target compared to the Arrows' two. The Arrows had more corner kick opportunities 4-1.

The second half was full of energy as the Arrows came out strong and scored in the 48th minute of play off a free kick that the Dragons were unable to clear and allowed Ursuline to tie the game at 1-1. Not five minutes later Tiffin responded with a goal from Kaelyn Harkness that was assisted by Emma Siler who flicked a header over her defender that gave Kaelyn a shot from outside the 18-yard box and beat the goalkeeper to take back the lead.

The Arrows weren't done yet as they fought back and scored again in the 56th minute off a shot by Hannah Pickens, her second goal of the game that beat the keeper on the far side of the post and went in to tie at 2-2. One minute later, Ursuline conceded a free kick in a dangerous ground that was swung in by Kim Nagel and was flicked on by Ellie Adams right in front of the goalkeeper to give the Dragons the 3-2 lead. The Arrows late surge was held off by the Dragons and they were able to secure the 3-2 win.

Tiffin outshot Ursuline 16-12 in the game, with the Dragons having 10 shots on net compared to the Arrows' four, and the Arrows had more corner kicks 6-5.

Malea Nelson got the win in net, her first win of the year as she played 90 minutes, made two saves, and allowed two goals.
