Strong Defense Helps Dragons Defeat Storm 2-0

The Tiffin University women's soccer team beat conference opponents Lake Erie 2-0.

The Dragons got on the board first in the 11th minute with Hannah Rittenhouse as the goal scorer. Tiffin doubled their advantage in the 28th minute with Emma Siler scoring the goal. The two teams were even in the stats each with six shots with Tiffin having five shots on goal and the Storm with four, and the Dragons had the advantage in corners 2-1. 

In the second half, the defense held strong for both teams with neither team able to break down the other's defense. The Storm outshot the Dragons 17-12, with 10 shots on goal compared to Tiffin's eight, and the Dragons had the advantage in corners 4-1.

Molly Miller recorded the win in goal, improving to 3-4 on the year. She had nine saves in net through 90 minutes of play to get the clean sheet.
