The Tiffin University women's soccer team fought conference opponent Trevecca Nazarene to a double-overtime 1-1 tie.

The Dragons improve to 0-7-1 overall and 0-4-1 in the conference, while the Trojans improve to 5-2-2 overall and 4-0-1 in the conference.

The Dragons came out strong in the game and were rewarded by scoring the first goal of the game in the 22nd minute of play. Kristen Dickison dribbled by a player then passed the ball to Hannah Rittenhouse who shot the ball into the top right corner of the net to lead the Trojans 1-0.

The Dragons kept this lead for the first 45 minutes, Tiffin had more shots on goal with four compared to the Trojans' three, but the visitors had the advantage in corner kicks with a 5-2 margin in the first half.

The second half was a tough battle for both sides with neither giving an inch. This played well for Tiffin being up 1-0. However, Trevecca managed to score off a quick throw-in that was crossed by Ryann Anderson and made its way to Katelyn Keogh wide open at the far side of the net and she was able to tie the game at 1-1 in the 85th minute of play.

Trevecca had more shots on net with five while the Dragons only had three and had more corners 3-2.

In overtime, Trevecca had the better scoring chances with one shot on goal in the first OT and one in the second while the Dragons had two shots on goal in the second OT period. Neither team could break the deadlock and the teams tied 1-1.
