Dickison Scores a Brace in 5-2 Loss to Cedarville

The Tiffin University women's soccer team lost a 5-2 contest to conference opponent Cedarville.

The Yellow Jackets improve to 4-3-1 overall and 4-1 in the GMAC, while the Dragons fall to 0-7 overall and 0-4 in the GMAC.

At the start of the game it was all Tiffin as they scored two quick unanswered goals to lead 2-0 in the first ten minutes of the contest. The goals were scored by Kristen Dickison in the 4th and 9th minutes of play assisted by Kaelyn Harkness on the first goal and Kim Nagel on the second.

In the 22nd minute Cedarville would get on the board to cut the Dragons lead to 2-1. Then, in the 31st minute the Yellow Jackets scored again to tie the game at 2-2. 

The first half ended with the two teams deadlocked at two goals apiece. The Yellow Jackets outshot the Dragons 11-5 and had more opportunities with four corners in the half.  

The Yellow Jackets kept the pressure on in the second half as they scored in the 54th minute of play to take their first lead of the game. Cedarville was able to score two more goals in the 72nd and 86th minutes to gain a commanding 5-2 lead. 

The Yellow Jackets outshot the Dragons 20-11, with 11 shots on goal for Cedarville and 7 for Tiffin, and the host had 8 corners compared to Tiffin's 2.

Molly Miller was in net for Tiffin, recording six saves in 90 minutes.
