Women’s Soccer Falls to Trevecca Nazarene 2-1

The Tiffin University women's soccer team was defeated by conference opponent Trevecca Nazarene 2-1. 

The Trojans were great in the first half, scoring two goals - one in the 22nd minute and the second in the 33rd minute to lead 2-0 at halftime. The host outshot the Dragons 9-2, forcing the Tiffin keeper to make four saves, and had a 3-1 advantage in corner kicks. 

Tiffin started off great in the second half, scoring three minutes into the half as Kaelyn Harkness scored assisted by Kim Nagel to cut the Trojans' lead in half. Despite the fast start to the second half Tiffin was unable to find the back of the net again and fell 2-1. 

The Dragons outshot the Trojans in the second half 14-8, forcing the Trojan keeper to make six saves and had the advantage in corners 4-3. 

Malea Nelson took the loss in goal for Tiffin, allowing two goals and making five saves in the contest.
