INDIANAPOLIS - On Tuesday afternoon, the Great Midwest Athletic Conference released the 2020-21 GMAC women's soccer schedules, set to occur during the months of March and April.
Tiffin, along with the rest of the conference, will play one game apiece against the other 10 member schools between March 11 and April 17. Match times will be decided by the home institution of each contest and are yet to be determined.
The GMAC slate will kick off in Tiffin, with the Dragons taking on Ursuline at home in the only contest scheduled for Thursday, March 11. Tiffin will then host Ohio Valley two days later to wrap up the opening homestand.
TU then hits the road for three games, visiting Trevecca Nazarene on March 18, Kentucky Wesleyan on March 20, and Cedarville a week later on March 27.
The month of April begins with back-to-back home contests against Walsh (April 1) and Malone (April 3) before TU makes the drive down to Columbus to take on Ohio Dominican on April 10.
The final week of the regular season will see the Dragons host Lake Erie on April 15 and close out the slate on the road at Findlay on April 17.
The Great Midwest Women's Soccer Championship will make up the seventh week of the season. The first-round quarterfinal matches will fall on Saturday, April 24, and the semifinals and championship final will be conducted on Thursday, April 29 and Saturday, May 1.
Under the direction of first-year head coach and TU men's soccer alum Dean Joseph, the Dragons are looking to turn things around after a rough two-year start to their GMAC era. Returning scoring leaders include senior Lily Cady (three goals) and sophomore Emma Siler (two goals, one assist), while junior keeper Nahomi Lopez is back after recording nearly 1200 minutes in goal across 13 games in 2019.
