Women's Soccer Recognized With Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - On Thursday afternoon, the United Soccer Coaches announced the Team Academic Award winners at the high school and collegiate levels to recognize exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2019-20 academic year, with Tiffin women's soccer receiving the honor.

College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the 2019-20 academic year.

The Dragon women posted an exceptional team grade point average of 3.53 over the course of the year. Tiffin was one of four GMAC programs to receive the women's award, joining Cedarville, Malone, and Walsh.

A total of 889 college teams (333 men, 556 women) earned the Team Academic Award, including 172 schools that had both their men's and women's programs recognized.
