TIFFIN, Ohio - Coming off a five-goal victory over Alderson Broaddus, Tiffin will look to keep the momentum going as they host Ursuline and Lake Erie this weekend.

Dragon Details:

Tiffin picked up their first victory of the season last Thursday at Alderson Broaddus, routing the Battlers 5-0. Sierra Besecker got the Dragons on the board in the 31st minute for a one-goal halftime lead, and then Claudia Santillan, Emma Siler, Lily Cady, and an AB own goal gave the Dragons the five-score win.

Besecker leads the Dragons on the season with seven points on three goals and an assist. Lily Cady also has three goals for six points, while Emma Siler has two goals and an assist for five points.

Julia Effinger and Claudia Santillan both have a goal and two assists for four points, and Lauryn Grcic and Leila Hannaoui have the other TU goals along with each one assist for three points.

Nahomi Lopez continues to lead the GMAC with 88 saves, holding a 2.30 goals against average and .759 save percentage in 12 games.

Scouting the Arrows:

Ursuline enters the week two spots ahead of Tiffin in the conference standings at 3-5-1, coming off of a pair of losses to Ohio Dominican (2-0) and Cedarville (1-0) last weekend.

The Dragons and Arrows faced each other once already this season on Sept. 27 in Pepper Pike, with Ursuline getting goals from Jarah Froelich and Hannah Pickens for a 2-0 win.

Sarah Mitchell leads the team with five goals for 10 points, two of which were game-winners. Pickens follows with three goals and two assists for eight points, and Froelich is next with two goals for four points. Only one other Arrow has scored a goal this season, Brooke Mahabir, while three others have one assist apiece.

Gina Cerny has played every minute of Ursuline's 11 games in goal, recording a 1.16 goals against average, 64 saves, and a .831 save percentage (4th in the GMAC).

Scouting the Storm:

Lake Erie is in between Ursuline and Tiffin in the GMAC standings at 2-6-1 against conference competition. They also faced Cedarville and Ohio Dominican last weekend, falling to the two teams by a combined score of 7-1.

One of the Storm's two conference victories came against Tiffin on Sept. 29 in Painesville by a 2-1 score. Lily Cady gave the Dragons a 1-0 lead just seven minutes into the game, but Lake Erie's Carley Kandel and Peyton Frankovich both tallied before the end of the first half and the Storm defense held for the remainder of the contest.

Sophomore forward Haley Scherer leads the team with four goals and an assist for nine points, while Kandel is not too far behind with eight points on three goals and two assists. Holland Erb has two goals for four points, and Frankovich and Mariah Fedewa each have one score for Lake Erie.

Megan Biddell has played the majority of the season in goal for the Storm, recording a 1.44 goals against average, 69 saves, and a .831 save percentage in 10 games.
