The Tiffin University women's soccer team opened the scoring but could not hold the lead, eventually settling for a 1-1 tie in double overtime at Ohio Dominican.
Ohio Dominican had the offensive edge in the first half, outshooting TU 8-3 on shots and 6-0 on corner kicks but neither team could score.
The Dragons took the lead first from Carla Briscoe with a goal in the 48th minute but the lead didn't last long as the Panthers scored in the 50th minute.
Despite holding a 13-5 shot advantage, ODU couldn't find the winning goal in the 2nd half. TU goalkeeper Shelby Haworth saved 7 shots on goal leading to the overtime.
In the two overtime periods, both teams looked for the game winner but neither could find the net. The Panthers had 4 shots and a corner kick while the Dragons had one shot over the extra time. Both goalkeepers saved a single shot on target.
Overall Shelby Haworth made 10 saves for Tiffin, facing a total of 25 shots.
Tiffin stands at 0-8-1 overall and 0-6-1 in the conference.
