Dragons Picked 7th in GMAC Preseason Coaches’ Poll

The Tiffin University women's soccer team received 69 points in the GMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll, placing them 7th amongst the 13 team league. The Dragons are coming off an 8-10-1 season and a GLIAC Tournament victory.

Ohio Valley was the leader in the clubhouse with 139 points and eight of the 13 total first place votes. Ohio Dominican checked in right behind the Fighting Scots with four first place votes and 134 total points. Walsh was the only other institution to receive a first place vote, and totaled 120 points to sit third in the poll. The Yellow Jackets of Cedarville University check in at 4th with 107 points, Ursuline University is 5th with 93 points, and Trevecca Nazarene University is 6th with 91 points.

The University of Findlay is hot on the Dragons' tail with 66 points and an 8th place projected finish. Kentucky Wesleyan is 9th, Lake Erie is 10th, Malone sits in 11th, Davis & Elkins is 12th, and Alderson Broaddus rounds out the poll in 13th.

Tiffin's season begins on August 30, with a season opening GMAC game against Cedarville University.
