The Tiffin University women's soccer team picked up a non-conference victory on Tuesday afternoon, defeating Concord University 2-1 in overtime.

The two sides not only battled each other, but had to contend with gusting winds, making life difficult for the two teams. The Mountain Lions struck first, scoring in the 23rd minute on a ball that was lobbed past the diving Jennifer Sandberg. Tiffin evened the score in the 35th minute, as Adrianna Currie found Svetlana Gudenkova cutting through the box. Gudenkova took Curries' pass and was able to chip the ball between the goalkeeper and near side post for the tying score.

At the break, the Dragons held a 6-5 advantage in shots and 2-0 lead in corner kicks.

The second half saw some stellar goal keeping by both sides, as the two teams accounted for 16 shots in the half. The defensive struggle lasted the entire 2nd half, as overtime was needed to decide the contest.

The overtime was short-lived, as Adrianna Currie ended the game with a goal off the far side post to give Tiffin a 2-1 win with less than a minute off the clock.

TU held a 17-11 lead in shots and 3-1 advantage in corner kicks. Adrianna Currie had another three point game, assisting on the game tying goal, and knocking home the game winning goal. Svetlana Gudenkova finished with a goal scored, and Taylor Lewis assisted on the final Dragon goal.
