Tiffin University had little trouble with Thomas More in its opening dual of 2023-24, winning 39-13.

The Dragons opened with three forfeit victories, as Anthony Aniciete (125), Max Shore (133), and Zack Donathan (141) put TU ahead 18-0 without opposition.

After Nolan Gessler (149) fell in a narrow 2-1 decision decided on riding time, Casey Barnett (157) got TU back on track with a win via fall in 3:56.

Jakob Hurley (165) followed with his own win by pin in 1:00 to make the score 30-3.  

TU got two more victories, as Lucas Salmon (184) won by major decision 22-12 and Jake Noon (197) posted a tech fall win 22-5 in 4:34.

Brayden Benson (174) fell by major decision 9-0, while Clayton Ours (285) was pinned in 1:15 in Tiffin's other matches.

Tiffin will now travel to Ada, Ohio to compete in the Ohio Northern Invitational.
