Tiffin University had one placer at the Findlay Open, as Max Shore took 5th place.

Shore (125 pounds) opened with two wins, pinning Davenport in 21 seconds before winning via tech fall 23-3. He then fell to Wisconsin Parkside 23-5 but then bounced back with a 15-0 win over Indiana Tech and a medical forfeit over Glenville State. He then posted a win over Lake Erie 17-2 to take 5th place.

Justin Smythe (141) got three victories. After losing by fall to Notre Dame in 4:48, he posted a 15-0 win, a 6-2 victory, and a win over Gannon in sudden victory 6-3. He then fell to Findlay by pin in 1:54.

David Davis (165) also got three wins. After getting pinned by Ohio State in 2:37, he won by forfeit, then beat Ohio 7-4 and Gannon 9-5. He then lost to Central Michigan 17-2.

Frankie Depinet (133) got wins over Grand Valley 13-9 and Jamestown CC by fall in 1:29.

Also getting wins at Findlay were Bryson Cole at 141 pounds (7-0), Jacob Pail at 149 (6-4 over Grand Valley, medical forfeit over West Liberty), Carson Steinmetz at 174 (8-5 sudden victory over Grand Valley), Brayden Benson at 174 (2-1 over West Liberty, pin in 5:11 over Grand Valley), and Dean Hetrick at 197 (pin in 2:35 over Gannon).
