Tiffin University, ranked 23rd in the latest national polls, had a banner day on Day two of the Kutztown University Duals, smashing four opponents to go unbeaten on the day.
After falling by 1 tiebreaker point to 18th ranked Kutztown on Day one, TU opened with their closest match of the day, a 24-19 win over Seton Hill. They then cruised past their final three opponents, beating East Stroudsburg 42-10, LIU Post 33-9, and Shippensburg 30-12.
Three Dragons posted unbeaten 4-0 marks on Day two. Trey Grine (141) posted close victories of 6-5, 5-3, and 6-5 while also posting a 11-4 victory. Mike Screptock (149) had decisions of 6-0, 7-5, and 11-3 while also winning via pin in 3:40.
Kevin Christman dominated at 197 pounds, posting pins in 1:27, 1:38, and 1:40 while also tallying an 8-4 win, while TU also dominated the 285 weight class. Caleb Fry had pins in 1:23 and 00:25, while Garrett Gray also flattened his opponents in 2:42 and 3:55.
