Tiffin University battled throughout the day in three tough duals at the Midwest Regional Duals hosted by Belmont Abbey College.

The Dragons, who went 2-1, fell to Limestone 22-18 before bouncing back to defeat Belmont Abbey 27-21 and UNC Pembroke 22-13. Against Limestone, the Dragons led 12-9 with just four matches left but uncharacteristically dropped three of those four matches to fall, with Garrett Gray getting the lone win at 285 pounds via pin in 1:26.

Against Belmont Abbey, BA led 15-13 with four matches left but this time the Dragons swept all four matches to get the victory. UNC Pembroke also led 13-12 with 3 matches left but once again the Dragons responded, winning all three matches to finish the day on a roll.

Overall three Dragons finished the day unbeaten. Hunter Langeloh (133) posted wins of 17-4, a forfeit win, and a pin in 4:25. Trey Grine (141) had decision wins of 8-0, 9-1, and 4-1, while Mike Screptock (149) also won by 10-1, 10-6, and 11-2 margins.

Kevin Christman won twice at 197 pounds, pinning in 2:20 and outpointing another opponent 8-6. Gray, meanwhile, added an 8-0 score to his pin in 1:26.
