Tiffin University (5-12, 5-5 GMAC) had a memorable Senior Day, defeating Ursuline 18-3 to finalize a spot in the GMAC Tournament.

Tiffin will take on top-seed Walsh at 12 pm on May 5 on the road.

The game was also big for Daniela Carey, who enjoyed her senior day with 6 goals scored and eclipsing 100 career goals in the process. She also added 4 draw controls.

The team jumped out to a 5-0 lead after one quarter and added six more goals to lead 11-0 at halftime.

Jenny Bates had two first-quarter goals along with Carey, Danielle Roberts, and Angela Lulejian, with Lulejian, Gabby Wilson, and Isabella Piccione getting assists.

Carey added four goals in the second quarter to expand TU's lead. Rylee Sutherland also scored twice while adding two assists. 

Overall TU outshot Ursuline 28-16 including 18-8 in the first half. They held a 10-4 ground ball edge, forced 17 turnovers, and won the draws 14-11.

Sutherland also had a huge game, scoring twice and adding 7 assists. Bates had 4 goals while Lulejian had 2 goals and an assist. Wilson had 3 assists and 7 draws. Piccione had a goal and assist, as did Cassidy Kumiega. Hannah Unkefer and Roberts also had goals.
