Tiffin University's women's lacrosse team has been picked third in the 2022 GMAC Preseason poll.

Walsh was picked on top with 25 points including 5 first-place votes. Findlay was right behind with 20 points (1 first-place nod), while TU was also in the mix with 17 points. GMAC-newcomer Ashland was fourth with 14, while Lake Erie and Ursuline tied for fifth with 7 points.

Last season Walsh won the regular season title, with the Cavaliers, Oilers, and Dragons all tying at the top with identical 4-2 records. Walsh defeated Tiffin 15-7 in the GMAC Championship game to add the postseason tourney title to their season as well.

The 2022 Dragons are led by GMAC First Team midfielder Daniela Carey (33 goals, 13 assists) and GMAC Goalkeeper of the Year Jenay Rennie (12.50 GAA, 120 saves). Second Team attackers Danielle Roberts (23 goals, 7 assists) and Rylee Sutherland (16 goals, 8 assists) also return. Attacker Jenny Bates (13 goals) also returns to give depth to the offensive attack.

TU opens its season Feb. 26 at Lindenwood and hosts its home opener on March 6 vs. Notre Dame at 2 pm.
