Tiffin (6-8) defeated Findlay for the third time this season to advance to the GMAC Championship game on May 8.

Tiffin battled the Oilers in a much closer contest than its previous two encounters, eventually prevailing 10-8. The game was a low-scoring, defensive affair from the outset.

With the win, TU will take on Walsh at 5 pm May 8 for the GMAC title. Walsh dispatched Ursuline 19-3 in its semifinal game. It will also be the third time the two have faced each other, with the Cavaliers winning the previous two meetings.

As the game started, TU took a 3-1 lead with 12:40 left in the half, with two of the three goals coming from Daniela Carey.

Findlay answered with three straight goals to lead 4-3 with just 8 seconds left in the half as the Oilers attempted to take momentum into the halftime lockerroom.

Elle Hamilton had other ideas, however, streaking down the field in just 7 seconds to score and tie the game 4-4 with one second remaining on the clock.

In the second half with the score tied 5-5, TU ripped off three straight goals, with two by Hamilton and another by Avery Dean

Findlay continued to chip away at the slim lead, coming as close as 9-8 with 2:47 left. A free position goal by Hamilton, though, put TU back up 10-8 and put the game away.

Defensively the Dragons did what they had to to win, as they kept the Oilers from getting quality shots. Though being outshot 16-10 in the second half, TU's defense only allowed 7 of those shots to be on goal. Overall TU was outshot 29-23 but only 16 UF shots were on target.

Findlay also went just 1 for 6 on free position shots. The Dragons controlled the draws 15-6, and also overcame a 25-9 disadvantage on ground balls.

Hamilton led the Dragons with 4 goals and an assist with 7 draws, while Rylee Sutherland had a goal and 2 assists. Carey added 2 goals, while Jenny Bates, Dean, and Leah Davis also had goals.

Jenay Rennie got the win in goal, making 8 saves over 60 minutes.
