Tiffin University (2-6) fell behind midway through the first half and could not close the gap, falling at Roberts Wesleyan 23-13.
Trailing 5-2 early, the Dragons fought back, with Elle Hamilton and Leah Davis getting free position goals before Daniela Carey scored off a pass from Hamilton to tie the score 5-5.
The Redhawks grabbed the momentum, though, scoring six straight goals to jump ahead 11-5. They maintained the lead at the half 13-8.
RWC continued to hold a six-goal lead when Danielle Roberts scored to make it 16-11, the closest the Dragons would get in the second half.
The Redhawks responded with six more unanswered goals to race ahead 22-11 and put the game away.
Roberts Wesleyan dominated the stat sheets, outshooting TU 38-19 and holding a 30-13 ground ball edge. They forced 23 TU turnovers and kept TU out of their end for much of the game, going 12 for 14 on clears. TU finished 7 for 19 on clear attempts.
Hamilton had another superb game, connecting on 6 goals with 2 assists along with 6 ground balls, 11 draw controls, and 3 caused turnovers.
Davis had 4 goals, while Carey had 2 and Roberts had a goal and assist.
Ariel Gold started in goal and took the loss, allowing 11 goals and making 2 saves over 40 minutes. Alex Sklack finished the final 20 minutes, making 4 saves.
