Tiffin University (2-5, 1-0 GMAC) took care of business in the first half, outscoring Ursuline by 10 goals en route to a 16-4 victory on the road.

Leading 2-1 with 22 minutes remaining in the first half, TU exploded by scoring 10 of the next 11 goals and grab a 12-2 halftime lead. Four of those first half goals came via free position shots.

Overall TU was in total command, outshooting Ursuline 36-11 and putting 30 of its 36 shots on goal. They also won the draws 13-7 and caused 14 UC turnovers.

Elle Hamilton had another solid game, scoring 4 goals with 2 assists and 6 draw controls. Danielle Roberts and Leah Davis also had 3 goals each.

Daniela Carey totaled 2 goals with an assist and 4 draws, while Avery Dean and Jenny Bates had 2 goals apiece.

Three goalkeepers saw action for TU, with Jenay Rennie getting the win after making 3 saves in 30 minutes. Ariel Gold played 17 minutes with 1 save, while Alex Sklack finished with 13 minutes and a save.

TU now takes on Roberts Wesleyan on March 31 at 4 pm in another road contest.
